About the Project

SEE DESIGN UPDATE POSTING, MARCH 8TH

Roseway Neighbors will reclaim the intersection of 77th Avenue and Siskiyou Streets this May with street painting, cairns and an interactive community board to give our community a focal point. Later this year we will build a rain garden to catch street water. This is just the beginning...

After this, we will move on to reclaim the street. We intend to build more rain gardens, plant street trees, install more art and petition the city to repave the street and curb extensions for safety and traffic calming.

A. North side of Siskiyou Street from 77th Avenue to 76th Avenue - Clean gutter to remove debris

A. Siskiyou Street from 77th Avenue - Street repair: sub-surface preparation, paving, striping and stop signs
B. 77th Avenue and Siskiyou Street - Install 3 curb bulb-outs, ADA improvements and plantings. Install final art and trees in bulb-outs.
C. South side of Siskiyou Street at 76th Avenue - Create two parking cut-outs.
